Dane County Bar Association

The Dane County Bar Association is looking for Spanish-speaking volunteers to assist with two clinics that occur at the Dane County Courthouse. The Small Claims Assistance Program occurs on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the Family Law Assistance Clinic occurs on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. These walk-in clinics aim to give brief limited legal information and advice, as well as assistance in filling out court forms, to individuals without attorneys. Volunteers may be attorneys, paralegals, or law students.

The Small Claims Assistance Program has a high need for new volunteers and no prior small claims experience is necessary.
